of Use

1. Who can use the Site and book service

• You must be at least 18 years old to request a quote or book a job.
• You must own the property where the work happens, or have the owner's permission to have items removed from it. If you are booking for a landlord, an estate, an employer, or a property manager, you confirm that you are authorized to do so.
• Bermline serves Duval County, Florida. We may decline a request outside that area, or any request we cannot perform safely.

2. How quotes work

• Send photos of what needs to go by text to (904) 298-7293, or through the Site's quote form. We review them and reply with a written price or, when access, weight, or scope is uncertain from photos, a written range.
• A quote based on photos is an estimate for the scope shown in those photos and your description. It becomes a firm price only when we confirm it on site.
• On arrival we look at the actual load and confirm a firm written price before anything is lifted. Once we confirm that price for the scope we quoted, it does not go up on arrival for that scope.
• Material that was not in the photos or description, or that is discovered during the job, is a separate scope. We price it separately, in writing, and you may accept or decline it before we take it.
• A written quote is valid for 14 days unless it says otherwise.
• We may decline a job at any point before loading if the load, the access, or the site conditions are unsafe, are materially different from what was described, or include items we do not take.

3. What we take and what we do not

• We remove furniture, appliances, household clutter, yard debris, and non-hazardous renovation and construction debris from homes, rentals, and other properties in Duval County.
• We do not accept paint, chemicals, propane tanks, asbestos or suspected asbestos, or other hazardous materials. Limits on tires and certain other items may apply and will be stated in your quote.
• We may refuse any item at any time if handling it would be unsafe, unlawful, or not accepted by the facilities we use.
• Items we take become Bermline's property once they are loaded, and we decide how they are disposed of, recycled, or donated. If you ask us to donate a specific item and a recipient accepts it, we will try, but we cannot promise that any item will be donated.

4. Your responsibilities before and during the job

• Remove anything you want to keep from the work area and from the items being removed. Check drawers, cabinets, boxes, pockets, and containers. We do not go through them unless that is part of the written scope you approved, and we are not responsible for personal property left inside items we haul away.
• Clear a path from the items to where the trailer will park, and tell us in advance about stairs, elevators, gates, pets, parking restrictions, or anything else that affects access.
• An adult with authority to approve the work must be present for indoor jobs unless we agree to a different arrangement in writing.
• Tell us about anything that could affect safety: moisture, mold, pests, sharp or broken items, structural concerns, or items that must stay.
• You are responsible for confirming that the items are yours to dispose of, and for any permits, association rules, or building requirements that apply to the property.

5. Scheduling, cancellation, and access

• Pickup windows are estimates. We will text you if we are running early or late.
• You may cancel or reschedule by text or call at no charge at any time before the crew is on the way.
• If we arrive and cannot do the work because there is no access, no authorized adult, or a load materially different from what was described, a trip charge may apply as stated in your quote.
• We may reschedule for weather or safety reasons.

6. Pricing and payment

• The confirmed on-site price is due when the job is complete, unless a different arrangement is written in your quote.
• Accepted payment methods are stated at booking. Do not send full card numbers by text.
• If we add scope during the job, we confirm the additional price in writing before taking the additional material.
• Prices shown on the Site are examples for typical loads and are not a quote for your job.

7. Property care and damage

• We take reasonable care with floors, walls, door frames, and landscaping when moving items. Moving heavy or awkward items through occupied spaces carries some risk even with care.
• If you believe our crew damaged something, tell us before we leave or within 48 hours, with photos. We will look at it promptly and in good faith.
• We are not responsible for pre-existing damage, for damage caused by moving an item in a way you directed, or for damage arising from conditions you did not tell us about.
• We leave the defined work area with a basic sweep. Deep cleaning is not part of the service unless it is written in the scope.

8. Limits on our responsibility

• To the fullest extent Florida law allows, Bermline's total responsibility for any claim related to a job is limited to the amount you paid for that job.
• We are not responsible for indirect losses such as lost time, lost income, or replacement costs beyond the reasonable value of a damaged item.
• Nothing in these Terms limits any liability that cannot be limited under Florida law.

9. Text messages and calls

• By texting us, or by asking us to quote or schedule by text, you agree to receive service messages about your job at that number. Message and data rates may apply. Reply STOP to stop and HELP for help. Details are in our Privacy Policy.

10. Photos and information you send us

• You confirm that you have the right to share the photos and information you send, and that they do not show people who have not agreed to be photographed, identification documents, or other sensitive records.
• You give Bermline permission to use your photos to price, plan, perform, and document your job. We do not use customer photos or addresses in marketing without your separate written permission.

11. Using the Site

• The Site, its text, logo, and design belong to Bermline LLC. You may view and print pages for your personal use in dealing with us. Do not copy, scrape, or reuse the content.
• Do not use the Site to send spam, malicious code, or false quote requests, and do not interfere with how it works.
• The Site may link to outside pages, such as City of Jacksonville bulk collection information. We are not responsible for those sites.
• We try to keep the Site accurate but do not promise that it is free of errors. Information on the Site is general and is not a quote for your job.

12. Changes to service or to these Terms

• We may change these Terms when the business, the Site, or the law changes. The "Last updated" date will change, and continued use of the Site or our services after that date means you accept the updated Terms. For a material change we will post a short notice on the Site.

13. Florida law and disputes

• These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Florida. Any dispute that cannot be resolved between us will be handled in the state courts located in Duval County, Florida.
• Before either side files anything, we ask that you contact us so we can try to resolve it directly.

14. General

• If any part of these Terms is found unenforceable, the rest still applies.
• These Terms and the Privacy Policy are the whole agreement between you and Bermline for use of the Site. A written quote you accept adds the job-specific price and scope and does not replace these Terms.
• Our failure to enforce a part of these Terms is not a waiver of it.
