Doing business as Bermline / Bermline Junk Removal

Website: https://bermlinejunk.com/

Service area: Duval County, Florida

Last updated: September 6, 2026

Effective date: September 1, 2026

This Privacy Policy describes how Bermline LLC ("Bermline," "we," "us," or "our") collects, uses, shares, and protects information when you visit https://bermlinejunk.com/ (the "Site"), request a quote, text or call us, schedule or receive junk-removal service, or otherwise deal with us.

This is a small, locally owned junk-removal business. We collect only what we need to quote the job, show up, haul approved material, get paid, and keep required records. We do not sell your personal information.

By using the Site or contacting us for service, you acknowledge this Policy. If you do not agree, do not use the Site or send us photos or personal details.

This Policy is a general business document. It is not legal advice and does not create an attorney-client relationship.

1. Who we are

Bermline LLC is an independent Jacksonville junk-removal company. We remove furniture, appliances, household clutter, and non-hazardous renovation debris. We are not a franchise.

2. Information we collect

A. Information you give us

When you call, text, email, fill out a quote form, approve a written price, or meet us on site, we may collect:

  • Name and phone number
  • Email address, if you provide one
  • Service address, ZIP code, neighborhood, or access instructions
  • Job type (for example furniture/appliance, home or garage cleanout, property turnover, construction or yard debris, or a special project)
  • Description of items, volume, weight, stairs, gates, elevators, parking, and preferred timing
  • Photographs or short videos of the load, items, appliances, debris pile, and the path from the items to the truck
  • Notes about disconnection status, moisture, pests, staining, hidden hazards, or items that must stay
  • Scheduling details and whether an authorized adult will be present
  • Payment details needed to complete a job (see Section 8)
  • Messages you send us, including SMS threads used to quote or schedule work

Please do not send identification documents, Social Security numbers, bank or card numbers by text, medical records, legal files, passwords, or photos of people who have not agreed to be photographed. The Site already asks you not to upload identification, financial, medical, or other sensitive records. If you send that kind of material by mistake, tell us and we will delete it when we reasonably can.

B. Information from the job itself

On site we may see or record:

  • The service address and condition of the defined work area
  • Items you asked us to remove, keep, donate, or set aside
  • Access limits (stairs, long carries, tight turns, restricted loading)
  • Written price confirmations, change orders, and signatures or approvals
  • Limited photos we take to document the load, access, before/after condition of the work area, or a disputed scope

We do not rummage through drawers, boxes, or personal papers unless that material is in the written scope you approved. You are responsible for removing documents, photographs, jewelry, tools, medications, cash, and other personal property before we start, unless we agreed otherwise in writing.

C. Information collected automatically on the Site

When you visit the Site, our hosting provider and analytics tools may collect:

  • IP address, approximate location (city/region level, not a precise home pin from Analytics alone)
  • Browser, device, and operating-system type
  • Pages viewed, referring site, date and time, and general usage data
  • Cookie or similar identifiers used by Google Analytics

We currently use Google Analytics 4 (measurement ID G-VBZDB85JM8) to understand which pages are used and how people find the Site. Google may process this data under its own privacy policy: https://policies.google.com/privacy

You can limit Analytics with Google's opt-out tools or browser settings. Blocking cookies may affect how the Site works.

The Site is hosted on Netlify. Netlify may process technical logs and form submissions (including photo uploads) under Netlify's terms and privacy policy.

D. Information we do not intentionally collect

  • We do not knowingly collect information from children under 13.
  • We do not use the Site to take card payments today. If we later add an online payment tool, that processor, not Bermline, will handle full card numbers.
  • We do not run a public account system, customer portal, or mobile app at this time.

3. How we use information

We use the information above to:

  • Review photos and descriptions and send a written quote or range
  • Confirm the final price on site before loading
  • Schedule, route, and complete pickups in Duval County
  • Call or text you about arrival windows, access, scope, and payment
  • Load, haul, donate (only if you asked and a recipient will take the item), scrap, or dispose of approved material at facilities
  • Leave the defined work area in the condition described in the written scope (typically a basic sweep)
  • Process payment and keep ordinary business, tax, insurance, and job records
  • Improve the Site, pricing explanations, and service operations
  • Protect the business, customers, and crew (fraud, safety, disputed charges, damage claims)
  • Comply with law, disposal-facility rules, and lawful requests

We do not use customer photos to train public AI models, and we do not post customer addresses or interior photos as marketing without a separate written okay.

4. Text messages and phone calls

Bermline invites customers to text photos to (904) 298-7293 for a quote and to call the same number.

If you text us first, or you give us a mobile number and ask us to quote or schedule by text, we will use that number for service messages: quote follow-up, scheduling, arrival windows, on-site questions, and job close-out.

  • Message and data rates may apply.
  • Message frequency depends on the job. We do not run a high-volume marketing text club.
  • Reply STOP to opt out of further texts. Reply HELP for help.
  • You can also opt out by calling (904) 298-7293.
  • We do not sell mobile numbers or SMS opt-in data.
  • Carriers and our phone/SMS provider process messages in order to deliver them.

Service texts about a job you requested are different from advertising texts. If we ever send promotional texts, we will only do so with the consent required by the Telephone Consumer Protection Act and related rules, and we will honor STOP.

Voice calls to and from the business line may appear in ordinary call logs. We do not advertise a recording line. If we record a call in the future, we will say so at the start of the call where the law requires it.

5. Photos

Photos are the main way Bermline prices a job before arrival.

We use photos only to:

  • Estimate volume, weight, material, labor, and access
  • Spot specialty items (mattresses, tires, refrigerant appliances, dense debris)
  • Plan the crew and trailer
  • Document the agreed scope if something later does not match the photos

Clear photos should show the full load, close views of heavy or unusual items, and the path to the loading area. They should not show driver's licenses, mail, screens with private data, children, or neighbors who did not agree to be photographed.

We may keep job photos with the job file for a reasonable period (see Section 10). We do not sell them.

6. When we share information

We do not sell, rent, or trade personal information.

We may share limited information with:

  • The owner/operator and crew working the job
  • Phone, SMS, and internet providers that carry your messages
  • Website host and form processor (currently Netlify), email providers, and Google Analytics
  • Payment processors or banks if you pay by card, app, or transfer
  • Disposal facilities, scrap yards, and donation organizations, only as needed to drop material or confirm they will accept an item
  • Insurers, accountants, bookkeepers, and professional advisors
  • Authorities when required by law, court order, or to protect safety and property
  • A buyer of the business, if Bermline LLC is sold or merged, subject to this Policy or a successor notice

If a job is on a rental, estate, or managed property, we may speak with the person who booked us and, when needed, the owner or manager who controls access. We still treat the service address and job photos as customer information.

We do not give your phone number to donation partners or scrap yards for marketing.

7. Cookies and similar technology

The Site may set or allow:

  • Essential cookies or local storage needed for the Site to function
  • Google Analytics cookies for usage statistics

We do not currently use advertising pixels, remarketing tags, or a cookie-consent banner because we are not running ads off this Site. If we add marketing pixels or non-essential tracking, we will update this Policy and, where required, give you a choice.

Most browsers let you block or delete cookies. You can also use Google's Analytics opt-out.

8. Payments

As of the date above, the Site does not process card payments. Payment is arranged when the job is confirmed.

If you pay by card terminal, invoice link, app, or bank transfer, the payment company will collect the information it needs. Bermline may keep the last four digits, amount, date, method, and a receipt, not your full card number, unless a processor dashboard shows it to us in the ordinary course.

Do not text full card numbers.

9. How we store and protect information

We use reasonable administrative, technical, and physical safeguards for a small field business: limited access to phones and job files, HTTPS on the Site, and host/security headers on Netlify.

No method of text, email, or cloud storage is perfectly secure. Photos sent by ordinary SMS are not end-to-end encrypted in the way a dedicated encrypted app is. If a message is highly sensitive, call us instead of texting the details.

If we discover a breach of personal information that Florida law requires us to report, we will notify affected people and regulators as the Florida Information Protection Act and other applicable law require.

10. How long we keep information

We keep information only as long as needed for the purpose collected, including:

  • Active quote and scheduling files until the job is done or you withdraw the request
  • Completed job files, photos used to price or document the work, written price confirmations, and payment records for a period needed for taxes, insurance, complaints, and bookkeeping (often several years)
  • SMS and call records for a reasonable business period
  • Website analytics in aggregate or according to Google's retention settings

We then delete or de-identify the information when we no longer need it, unless the law requires a longer hold.

11. Your choices and rights

You may:

  • Decline to send photos and request a phone description or on-site look instead (we may not be able to give a tight written range without photos)
  • Ask us not to text you (STOP or a phone request)
  • Ask what information we have about your job
  • Ask us to correct a name, address, or phone number
  • Ask us to delete photos or contact details we no longer need to keep
  • Stop using the Site

Florida residents have protections under the Florida Information Protection Act and other applicable law. Broader "delete everything / do not sell" statutes such as the Florida Digital Bill of Rights apply to much larger companies than Bermline. Even so, we will consider reasonable access, correction, and deletion requests.

To make a request, call or text (904) 298-7293 or email bermlinejunk@gmail.com. We may need to verify that we are talking to the right person. We may keep information we still need for a completed job, tax, insurance, or legal purpose.

We do not discriminate against you for asking about your information.

12. "Do Not Track"

The Site does not respond to browser Do Not Track signals. We do not track you across unrelated third-party websites for advertising.

13. Children

Bermline services and the Site are for adults arranging property work. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child sent us information, contact us and we will delete it.

Indoor jobs require an authorized adult on site unless we confirm another arrangement in writing.

14. Links and third-party sites

The Site may link to City of Jacksonville bulk-collection rules or other outside pages. Those sites have their own policies. We are not responsible for them.

15. Service area and international visitors

We serve Duval County, Florida. The Site is operated from the United States. If you contact us from elsewhere, your information will be processed in the United States.

16. Changes to this Policy

We may update this Policy when the business, the Site, or the law changes. The "Last updated" date will change. For a material change, we may also post a short notice on the Site or tell active customers by text or email.

Continued use of the Site or our services after an update means you acknowledge the revised Policy.
